Lindahl advises Nolato on the acquisition of Dutch company Unitron

The law firm Lindahl has acted as legal adviser to Nolato AB (publ) on the acquisition of the Dutch company Unitron, a development and manufacturing partner in the medical technology sector.

Nolato has signed an agreement to acquire Unitron, which offers services across the entire value chain, from early-stage product development to industrialisation and manufacturing. The company has just over 100 employees at its facilities in the Netherlands and North America and is expected to generate turnover of approximately SEK 200 million in 2026.

Through this acquisition, Nolato is strengthening its offering within the Medical Solutions business area. Unitron's expertise in areas such as electromechanics, printed circuit boards, system solutions and product development complements Nolato's global production structure and strengthens the Group's ability to offer solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The acquisition follows shortly after Nolato's acquisition of the Irish electronics company M&M Qualtech, in which Lindahl also acted as legal adviser. Both acquisitions form part of Nolato's growth strategy and mean that the Group is broadening its value chain and strengthening its offering in the electronics sector.

"We are delighted to once again have been entrusted with assisting Nolato in an international transaction. Unitron will be a strategic addition that broadens Nolato's offering within Medical Solutions, and it is particularly pleasing to continue supporting Nolato in the company's active acquisition programme," says Viktor Wihlstrand, responsible partner at Advokatfirman Lindahl.
