Lindahl advises eEquity in connection with the acquisition of Sävjo Trading AB
eEquity has entered into an agreement to acquire Sävjo Trading AB and its subsidiaries (“Sävjo”)
Sävjo was founded in 1967 and is specialized in manufacturing of plastic cans for nicotine pouches. Sävjo is an established player with over 50 years of history and has built a strong market position in high-quality plastic cans for nicotine pouches. The company has delivered a strong financial track record over time and operates a business model characterized by recurring revenues and deep customer relationships. Through close integration with its customers’ production processes, Sävjo contributes to operational stability, quality assurance and efficiency, which has laid the foundation for long-term customer relationships. At the same time, the company has built a well-invested and scalable production platform through investments of more than SEK 175 million in capacity and automation, with an annual production capacity of approximately 400 million cans.
The transaction is subject to fulfilment of customary closing conditions and is expected to close in May 2026.
Lindahl’s team consisted of Ahmed Al-Rahma, Jan Byström, Joel Sunnerman, Björn Andersson and Viktoria Wnuk as well as Ottilia Boström and Signe Bergström (employment law) Johan Åberg and Lisa Liljekvist (IP/tech) and Johanna Lundgren (environmental law).
