Advokatfirman Lindahl has advised Mackmyra Svensk Whiskey AB (publ) in a rights issue of units, consisting of shares and warrants, of approximately SEK 75.2 million. In the event of full utilization of all outstanding warrants, the company can receive additionally a maximum of approximately SEK 49.6 million, which can result in total issue proceeds of a maximum of approximately SEK 124.8 million.
Mackmyra was founded in 1999 and is Sweden's first malt whiskey manufacturer. Mackmyra has successfully launched the first Swedish single malt whiskey in the form of personal 30 liter casks and single malt whiskey in bottles. The business is conducted in Mackmyra Whiskeyby outside Gävle, with some functions located in Stockholm and also through the subsidiary Mackmyra Swedish Whiskey GmbH based in Lübeck and Mackmyra Swedish Whiskey Ltd based in Birmingham. Since many years, Mackmyra has had a clear position and presence in Systembolaget's stores as well as an established export outside Sweden's borders.
