Lindahl advises KlaraBo in property exchange transaction of approximately SEK 2.1 billion
Lindahl has advised KlaraBo in connection with a comprehensive property exchange transaction with Sveafastigheter, through which KlaraBo streamlines and strengthens its property portfolio towards the company's strategic cluster locations. The transaction amounts to a total property value of approximately SEK 2.1 billion.
The transaction entails that KlaraBo acquires properties valued at approximately SEK 1,103 million whilst divesting properties for approximately SEK 1,031 million to the same counterparty. Through the transaction, KlaraBo strengthens its presence in, amongst other locations, the Öresund region and Östersund, whilst exiting six locations where the company does not assess itself to have corresponding long-term economies of scale.
Following completion of the transaction, the proportion of KlaraBo's property portfolio located in the company's strategic cluster locations increases from 50 to 55 per cent. The transaction is carried out through share transfers and completion of the properties takes place on 2 February 2026.
Lindahl's team consisted primarily of Andreas Lindh, Josefine Engbom and Anders Adielsson.
