Lindahl welcomes competition law expert Joakim Sundbom as Partner
On October 1st, Joakim Sundbom will join Lindahl law firm as partner. Joakim is one of Sweden’s leading experts in EU and competition law, with more than 25 years of experience advising on complex merger control, cartel investigations and competition disputes, both at national and EU level.
Joakim will be based at Lindahl’s Uppsala office, and he will strengthen not only the EU and competition law team, but also the firm’s full-service offering – where competition law often plays an important role in assignments related to M&A, intellectual property and life sciences.
“We are very pleased to welcome Joakim to Lindahl. His experience and expertise are valuable additions that further enhance our EU and competition law capabilities. Joakim has a strong reputation in the market and shares our approach to clear, business-focused advice with the client’s needs in focus,” says Mårten Steen, Chairman of Lindahl.
Joakim has previously worked at both large and boutique law firms, most recently at Melander Sundbom Advokatfirma.
“I’m truly looking forward to joining Lindahl and working with skilled colleagues across Sweden. Lindahl is a highly respected firm with broad expertise and a strong brand. It feels inspiring to now join as a partner,” says Joakim Sundbom.
Joakim is ranked by both Chambers & Partners and Lexology Index (Who’s Who Legal) as one of Sweden’s leading experts in EU and competition law.
