Lindahl takes the top spot in Fastighetsvärlden’s ranking of law firms
Lindahl has claimed the number one position in Fastighetsvärlden’s annual ranking of leading real estate law firms – a list based on transaction volume. Over the past year, Lindahl’s real estate group has advised on numerous complex mandates, and this first-place ranking is a strong testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.
Lindahl is frequently among the top firms on Fastighetsvärlden’s list*, but this year climbs all the way to first place, with a total underlying property value of SEK 45.7 billion in transactions where the firm has acted as legal advisor.
“This is a strong recognition of the focus, specialist expertise and teamwork that characterise our real estate team. By combining legal excellence with commercial insight, we have been able to support our clients in both complex and strategically significant transactions,” says Johan Tollgerdt Ronnell, partner and head of Lindahl’s real estate group.
Among the firm’s major assignments in recent years is Brinova’s acquisition of a property portfolio from K-Fast Holding, with an agreed property value of SEK 10.8 billion.
Fastighetsvärlden’s overall analysis confirms what we at Lindahl have also observed – that the real estate market has gained strong momentum again after the downturn in 2023. The total transaction volume reported by Fastighetsvärlden is around SEK 20 billion higher for the current period (2024–2025) compared with the previous year (2023–2024).
“We are proud and grateful to take the top position and look forward to continuing to contribute our legal expertise to the real estate sector,” concludes Linda Backman, lawyer in Lindahl’s real estate group.
*The complete ranking of leading law firms was published in issue 6/2025 of the magazine Fastighetsvärlden, released on 29 September.
