  • Lindahl advises in the sale of Automile

Lindahl has advised Automile in connection with a restructuring and sale of Automile Holding AB to ABAX.

Automile is a leading Software-as-a-Service internet of things (IoT) and telematics company with offices in Sweden, Norway, and the US. Trusted with over 10,000 businesses and 87,000 subscribers, Automile offers fleet tracking, fleet management, and asset tracking services to small- medium and large businesses. Automile was founded by the entrepreneur Jens Nylander and has, over the years, raised equity from Dooer founder Sam Nurmi, Niklas Zennström’s Atomico and Dawn Capital, German Point nine, and the SaaS investor Jason Lemkin (SaaStr). The latest round was led by the New York based venture capital firm Insight Partners.

ABAX is one of the leading companies in Europe within the telematics and IoT industries with offices across Europe. ABAX’s solutions within plant tracking, tool tracking, vehicle tracking and fleet management are delivered as Software-as-a-Service to 34,000 customers.

The combination of the companies is deemed to add innovation and value-added connectivity services to customers of both companies.

Lindahl’s core deal team consisted of Mårten Steen (responsible partner), Helena Lindbäck, Amanda Sjöberg, Disa Almqvist and Anna Romell Stenmark.
