  • Lindahl advisor for the divestment of RIBA

Lindahl has assisted the sellers in the divestment of RIBA to Newsec.

RIBA is a leading player in technical management and projects in Greater Stockholm, generating revenue of around SEK 200 million. The company was founded in 1959 as an engineering firm and, over the years, it has developed its activities to include real property services, while it continued its engineering activities which are in its DNA. Besides technical management and operation, RIBA provides services in the areas of energy, environment, design engineering and project management.

Technical service and operations have been a growing segment of Newsec’s service provisions in recent years. The firm has expanded through organic growth, complemented by several acquisitions. Following the merger between Newsec’s operations and management organisation, the Swedish enterprise will have roughly 600 employees.

Through the acquisition, Newsec and RIBA strengthen their fields of expertise and are capable of providing their customers with additional, attractive services.

Lindahl’s legal team was made up of Svante Liljedahl (senior partner, M&A) and Isabelle Selemba (M&A).
